The North Dallas Fire Ants toppled the Anarchy City Chaos by a 7 to 3 score at
Lateralus Parabola.
North Dallas won the game with a rally in the top of the 8th inning with 3
runs utilizing 3 base hits. A.J. Pierzynski led off and he drew a walk.
Brendan Ryan next to the plate and he lashed a single. Matt Thornton then
bounced one in the dirt for a wild pitch. Johnny Damon stepped in and he
stroked a base-hit. Damon took second on the throw. Two outs later Adrian
Gonzalez came to the plate and drew a walk. Magglio Ordonez joined his
teammates in the uprising and stroked a one-base hit. North Dallas finished
with 12 hits while Anarchy City ended up with 8.
The victory was credited to John Danks(7-3) who went 7 innings, allowing 3
runs. Danks got help from Dustin Nippert who earned his 1st save. C.J.
Wilson(1-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
With this win, North Dallas has a 29-28 record. They have been 6-4 lately.
With the loss, the Anarchy City ballclub's record is 31-26.
